Overpowering her abusive childhood and advocating for adults who were abused as children are Reverend Sherri L. Board’s main purposes in life. Sherri is the coauthor of “What We’re Afraid to Ask: 365 Days of Healing for Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse” and a contributor to The WWAA Blog. She received her M.A. in Clinical Christian Counseling with Honors and is a Certified Christian Temperament Counselor. If you are interested in learning how to distinguish your spiritual genetics, your true God-given identity, from the false identity of your childhood abuse, go to www.mytruetemperament.com. All in all, while Board believes in the therapeutic power of humankind’s psychological theories, she also believes that the greatest healer and counselor is Christ. Sherri can also be reached at the Facebook groups, My True Temperament and Positive Affirmations for Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse. Reverend Board is currently pursuing her PhD in Clinical Christian Counseling.
